Serious problem with the texture View of Aircraft. This site is no longer being actively maintained. I've never tried to publish a package with Autogate, but WED kicks other scenery items that are not on the Laminar list of objects, so I'm just presuming the same goes for Autogate. If a developer tries to publish to the Gateway with Autogate equipment installed in his or her scenery package, WED will reject the submission automatically.
To the best of my knowledge, NO Gateway airports have Autogate capabilities but if you download a Gateway airport, you can add Autogate ramps or marshallers, or whatever using WED. So my two thumbs up of the developer and a sincere thank you for all the hard work! This site is being deprecated. This is exactly what was missing in X-Plane and from the looks of it, this will keep getting better in time! January 15, I first downloaded version 1. Great plugin, it has been way to long thank you guys for the awesome work! Btw are you including extensions to the jetways for airports which have a greater distance from the terminal to the actual moving jetway? Type 1 has 10m extension, type 2 something around I think. December 12, Excellent idea, thank you for creating this plugin and sharing your work with the community. Airports look so much more realistic now. Great work mate! March 10, Honestly my favourite plugin innovation since AutoGate. December 16, I understand that the plugin is only in V1. If you have an account, sign in now to post with your account.
If you are a payware developer you can get a license for your project here. You can either use these objects or create and animate your own. SAM is a native XP11 plugin offering different possibilities to scenery authors focused on animations. If you need anything specific, please feel free to contact me via GitHub. I've changed the UI to make it mobile device friendly, made some hacks here and there to make certain features work, but nothing out of the ordinary. MSFS Mobile Companion Apps is built on that library. You'll find a pretty good short documentation on how to use it. I'd suggest you look at the original Python SimConnect library on GitHub. With your skills, you should be more than capable of adapting the tool yourself. So this should give you the indication that it is not that hard to modify. I've started programming in my free time fairly recently.
I don't consider my self a pro programmer. Can you give me some hints to start rebuild your tool for my own purpuse? I am not familiar with the simconnect approach but have some knowledge about Python as well as some other script language, Perl, AHK, Visual Basic, PHP, HTML, XML gauge for P3D and FSX.
I would like to do some modification for my own purpuse but I dont know how to do it. I run your tool and find it very useful but I used a second monitor instead of a smartphone. Very cool tool and approach with OpenSource Python. It's just a start, I'll be adding additional features like COMs, ATC, lights, de-icing, etc. I'm developing it in my free time so I haven't been able to iron "everything" out. For more information, check out the official GitHub page.
Important notice: You install and run the app your MSFS PC and not on your mobile device! The app creates a local web server to which you connect to from your mobile device via an IP address. You can download it on GitHub or flightsim.to. Just make sure that you have a fairly recent browser and the device is connected to the same local network as your MSFS PC. It’s free, no ads, no in-app purchases, works on Android, iOS, Windows, Linux, Mac, you name it. It is a tool that gives you a live OSM map and allows you to control essential aircraft instruments (NAV frequencies, autopilot) using almost any mobile device. I'd like to present a new app I'm developing which will hopefully fit your needs - the MSFS Mobile Companion App.
